Jefferson Aladé creates with openness. He is an interdisciplinary artist/curator whose practice operates in the space between music and gathering. His work spans performance, spatial design, sonic intervention, and teaching. He treats music as a medium and sound as material for shaping environments and engaging communities.

Aladé has performed and developed sound programs for cultural institutions and festivals across North America, including the Vancouver Art Gallery, the Hammer Museum, Griffin Art Projects, Red Bull Media House, Vancouver Mural Fest, and Public Disco. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a minor in Music Industry from UCLA and a Master of Design (Interdisciplinary) from Emily Carr University of Art + Design. In 2020, he founded the cultural production studio, JOMA Studios
