Documenting Chinatown: a conversation with Morris Lum and Suzanne Girard

Join two Canadian artists live over zoom for a conversation focused on the photographic documentation of Chinatowns across North America. Morris Lum and Suzanne Girard will deliver short fifteen-minute presentations, followed by a group conversation and live audience Q/A Session. Presented in conjunction with Griffin’s current exhibition Whose Chinatown? Examining Chinatown Gazes in Art, Archives, and Collections, photographs by each artist are currently on view at Griffin Art Projects from January 29 – May 1, 2020.
