Conversation on Collecting with Catherine Clement, Tom Carter and Julie Jai

An intimate look into the personal collections of three Canadian collectors, revealing the narratives surrounding Chinese Canadian cultures, communities and histories, both real and imagined. BC-based collectors Catherine Clement and Tom Carter, and Yukon based collector Julie Jai share an afternoon of engaging conversation, followed by a live audience Q/A session.

This talk was presented in conjunction with Griffin Art Projects' exhibition Whose Chinatown? Examining Chinatown Gazes in Art, Archives, and Collections, guest curated by Karen Tam.
